PageGroup changes lives for people through creating opportunity to reach potential.
We find the best talent for our clients and match candidates to their ideal jobs.
‘We make a difference’ is one of our company values. Through the use of our skills and expertise as well as fundraising activities, giving back to others in society has always been a key part of our culture.
Our people undertake all kinds of challenges to help raise money for charity and support those most in need. Group-wide, we have a goal to change 1million lives and we are actively involved in that here in the UK. Everyone is encouraged to take part.
Across our regions we use our skills to give CV, career and interviewing advice to young and disadvantaged people; our focus being to unlock and support suppressed talent and individuals from under represented and less socio-economic backgrounds – whether they wish to return to or start work.
Working closely with our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion colleagues and through a team of committed social impact advocates in our offices around the UK, we support a variety of charities at local level as well as UK-wide:
Standing with autistic children and young people, championing their rights and creating opportunities.
Working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster.
Securing equal rights for women and girls across the globe.
We have a number of initiatives through which our corporate donations are made including early payment of invoices. Plus we make ad-hoc donations as well as match Give as You Earn (GAYE) donations made by our employees, who currently donate to some 92 different charities. Approximately £42,000 is given by employees, £42,000 is matched by the company to raise approximately £84,000 in total a year.
We are working with RefuAid, a charity whose aim is to help refugee and displaced professionals enter employment commensurate with their skills and experience.
PageGroup was one of five UK businesses to establish a business consortium in support of RefuAid in the UK in response to the Ukraine crisis. Our sponsorship is supporting refugees from an array of nations, including Ukraine, to return to - or begin – their careers in the UK. We are also providing our people’s time and expertise to develop the employability skills of RefuAid’s candidates and to place them into work.
Smart Works is a charity that provides clothes and interview coaching to unemployed women to help build their confidence and get them back in to the workplace. We have already donated three boxes of work clothes and are now drumming up volunteers to provide interview coaching in the near future!
