Considering its developments in Central Africa, our client is looking to recruit the head of operations for Congo.

The Head of Manufacturing Operations will play a vital role in leading the manufacturing function within this complex FMCG facility. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering operational excellence and a strong commitment to employee development and engagement.

The Operations Manager is a key figure in ensuring the smooth running of the manufacturing processes within a FMCG environment. This role carries the responsibility of maintaining and improving production lines, overseeing a very large team with 3 Managers as direct reports, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety are upheld, while looking at various continuous improvement strategies.

Do you have senior-level experience in compliance and assurance within a regulated sector? (Ideally social housing) This role involves working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to manage compliance, governance, and project oversight, aiming to streamline decision-making and uphold accountability within the business - reporting to the operations director.

You will be responsible for the effective management and delivery of hard and soft services, utilities, security and health & safety at the Centre. As a departmental budget holder, you will work with the Venue Operations Director and apply best practice to create the annual maintenance budget.

As part of the Executive Management Team, working closely with the UK CEO and Operations Director, this role involves overseeing financial operations, driving strategic initiatives, and managing a small finance team. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site), ideal for a proactive finance leader with manufacturing experience who thrives in a dynamic, privately owned environment with a global customer base.

Act as primary point of contact on financial matters supporting contract directors and managers with P&L responsibility for key contracts. Provide advice, support, financial analysis and reporting to the Operations Director to enable effective contract management and to drive effective decision making.

This is a newly created role due to continued growth in which my client requires a Finance Manager, responsible for managing the companies Finance Operations. Supported by the CFO, the role holder will develop departmental analysis, a management pack, budgeting and forecasting and other continuous improvement initiatives.
