Matt Ritchie speaks to Stuart McRobbie, of Michael Page Sales, about his role at Scotia Plant and what the future holds for the company.Q: When did you join Scotia Plant?I joined Scotia in July 2011 and have already had my first promotion.Q: What does your remit cover?As dealer principal for UK and Ireland, I have nine direct reports in sales and a further 15 reports in after-sales, parts and service.Q: How is your company dealing with the challenging market conditions?We listen to our clients’ needs and find them a solution that fits their requirements. A quality product, competitive prices and ‘cash-flow friendly’ finance packages have helped our clients get what they want within their means.Q: What do the next five years hold?We deal in all of the Doosan Bobcat & Terex products which are extremely competitively priced against competitor machines. We expect the market exposure of these to grow and hope to open at least one depot a year in this period. In addition we always have our ear to the ground for acquisition opportunities.Q.
