About Us

Our foundations are strong and we have longevity: Rowlands really is the oldest UK high street pharmacy. Established in 1810, we are proud of our heritage in the community. We are part of the PHOENIX Group – the largest privately owned medical group in Europe.

This provides us with the stability and security of a large parent company whilst enabling us to be at the forefront of innovation to enhance the use of technology in our pharmacies. This technology also allows our pharmacists to release clinical capacity and focus more on customer health and well-being.

• It’s a bit of a cliché but I enjoy the challenge.
 
Every day presents something different, for instance some branches I visit are quiet and involve different tasks whereas others are extremely busy so you’re often required to do five things at once.
 
What would I love to move into next in my career? 
The level 3 course seems to be very in-depth so I’m interested in taking that. I’d like to visit more branches and gain some more experience in the business side of things.
